What Is All-Natural Caffeine?

Caffeine has been used as a natural mind boosting stimulant for the last 10,000 years. Its popularity has grown so much in those years that now more than 90% of American adults consume caffeine in one way or another every single day. Why is it so popular? Because it helps keep us energized!

Caffeine keeps you awake and alert from a fairly simple mechanism actually. Over the course of the day, a nucleoside that occurs naturally in all cells of the body called adenosine binds to A1 receptors in the brain that promotes muscle relaxation and sleepiness. Caffeine works simply by blocking adenosine from binding to A1 receptors. Thus, you will not feel tired anymore. Very simple and very effective.

But how do you ideally want to ingest your caffeine? There are thousands of products out there that will provide caffeine, but the big difference is whether the caffeine is synthetic or all-natural. Synthetic caffeine is called caffeine anhydrous and is usually found in energy drinks or cheap caffeine pills. Whereas all-natural caffeine comes from an actual natural source, like coffee or green tea.

While synthetic caffeine definitely works, natural caffeine has some clear advantages. Compared to regular caffeine pills that use Caffeine Anhydrous, All-Natural Caffeine pills will give a much cleaner energy boost with less crash and jitteriness.

This is why we have chosen to offer All-Natural Caffeine pills to serve whatever purpose you are needing caffeine for.

If you need it as a kickstart to the morning, then you'll be all set. Maybe you don't like the taste of coffee, or don't have time to make or get some. This will make sure that you still get the energy boost you need.

Maybe you need it as a daily energy driver because you always feel like you need a nap in the afternoon. This quick little pick-me-up will ensure you get all your daily work done.

Or perhaps you want it as a pre-workout aid. Because our Pinnacle Pre-Workout does not contain any caffeine in it, this is a perfect addition. In fact, we formulated our pre-workout this way on purpose because we wanted people to be able to customize their dosage. Whether that's 200 mg or 600 mg, you have the freedom to take what you need to get the energy you want. If you like caffeine before your workout, then take your desired dosage alongside our Pinnacle Pre-Workout.

Why would you take caffeine before a workout? Because it's been well studied for its effects and benefits. In fact, it's been studied at much higher dosages than you may think. 6 mg of caffeine per kg of bodyweight has been shown to improve athletic performance parameters in both elite and recreational athletes such as anaerobic performance, intermittent sprint performance, and strength. (1,2,3) This equates to 545 mg of caffeine for a 200 pound person.

To calculate your caffeine mg dosage that the studies reference, take your bodyweight and divide that by 2.2 to get your weight in kg. Then multiply that number by 6 to get the number of milligrams of caffeine that would be equivalent to the dosage used in those studies.

That does not mean you need to take this high of a dosage though. There have also been plenty of studies that have shown improved athletic performance with lower dosages. This study showed 3 mg of caffeine per kg of bodyweight helps endurance performance by improving the time of an 8 km race by 23 seconds! (4)

Plus, we can't forget about all the cognitive benefits of caffeine. It's been shown to improve mood during exercise, cognitive performance, and attention. (5,6,7)

All in all, there are more than enough ways All-Natural Caffeine could be beneficial to you if used properly.
