YOU LIKE THE TINGLES?

If you've ever tried a pre-workout, and your skin got all tingly, or itchy, or warm, then you can thank beta alanine here. Beta Alanine is the ingredient responsible for the tingles that everyone either loves or hates from a pre-workout. This phenomenon actually has a real name to it called paraesthesia.

Since some people are not a fan at all of the paraesthesia sensation, we have decided to not include it in our Pinnacle Pre-Workout. But because we have chosen to do this, you can now actually customize your dosage!

Since everyone requires a different amount of Beta Alanine to get the tingly sensation they desire, you can determine what works best for you and easily pair that with our Pinnacle Pre-Workout. Anywhere from 2-4 scoops will probably get the job done, providing 2.4-4.8 grams.

However, Beta Alanine can actually serve a purpose other than just providing some tingles before your workout. Its real reason for ever becoming a sports supplement is that it can enhance athletic performance. How?

It works by increasing carnosine levels in the body. By increasing carnosine levels, it prevents the lactic acid build-up that contributes to muscular fatigue when training. This has been demonstrated in countless studies. (1,2)

But because it works by building up carnosine levels in the body, the dosage required to build up those levels can vary, and it requires time to build up. This is why there have been studies that have shown benefit anywhere from 2-6 grams per day. (3,4)

In this study, 2 grams per day for 6 weeks improved endurance performance and VO2 max. (5) While another study used 6 grams for 4 weeks to improve power and endurance in boxers. (6)

Therefore, it's the consistency that matters. As long as you're taking enough of it for a long enough period of time to increase those carnosine levels in the body, then the results will show.

(You can even get these benefits if you are not a fan of the tingling sensation. Just take 1 scoop providing a low dosage of only 1.2 grams of Beta Alanine multiple times a day to build up those stores. 1 scoop or less at a time should not produce any tingling sensation.)
